oem shock replacement. My 98 ws6 has 117k on the clock and I'm pretty sure the original decarbons are o the there.
My question is this. I obviously want to replace the shocks, however I am currently at stock height and will be probably until next year or (exhaust, transmission, stall are coming first). So if I'm looking at 2 driving seasons before I lower the car is there a shock I can use that will give me oem or slightly better handling?
If I buy the blistine shocks can I use them when I lower the car? I'd hate to buy them and only get a season out of them.

Pretty sure Sam used to revalve them but I don't think he does anymore. That being said, I love mine. I'm still on original fronts (110k) and new rears and love the ride. Its slightly firm and NOT overly harsh at all. As a matter of fact, I recently switched the old lady's Durango over to Bilsteins and will be swapping my Yukon over this year as well. I'm a firm believer in them.
