Default Spohn torque arm WTF?!

Anyone have problems with Spohn TA hitting the yoke??

Please tell me Im a complete idiot but the only way I can see this working is if I flip the hardware around and put the nuts on the outside of TA ...which as long as its safe i dont care, but before I go ANY further Id like some input...

TA is part of the 405 kit, cross brace/front driveshaft loop/Chrome moly etc etc

What's the part number? And does it have two sets of bolt holes or one? Part number is to tell whether it's for 9" rear, 12 bolt, or 10. Different mounting plates.
And I'm with the this him. You need to move this to the right place.

Kit is 405, adjustable for stock rear & long tubes. Yes 2 sets of holes, instructions specifically say Ford 9" use the outside mounting holes (ie bringing the TQ bracket even closer to the pinion)

Fug it, flipped the bolts around and left it as is. Noticed looking up pics some ppl have done the same thing....just wish Spohn would've said something about that in the instructions

That looks goofy. Wonder why they didn't just make the bracket a tad wider.

Yeah....some years ago I got a torque arm front crossmember from Spohn. It was waayy off, it would not bolt to the body.

Spohn refused to even consider they made it wrong and didn't want to hear any of it.

I won't use Spohn or recommend them. UMI is my first call for stuff today.

Well, I can't say I wasn't warned... I have had their chrome moly SFC in the LS1/car since I've owned in '06/and kinda wanted to keep is predominantly Spohn...That's okay though as long as the clearance I have now is adequate. Strano on the sway bars, springs etc. Just sucks cause if Spohn is junk on the ta I hope my rear LCA & Panhard I have yet to install is a better quality piece..
