Default ABS Module leaking from black plug

I installed a 3 channel diff in my 4 channel car, couldn't get ABS to work so i swapped the 4 channel back in. Went to bleed the brakes and i'm not getting anything to the back yet, and there was a masive sucking sound at the ABS module. There was a large leak there.

I've turned the car one trying to cycle the ABS and this didn't fix it.

The car sat jacked up in the rear for 2 months while i was offshore. Is this a check valve or a known replaceable part? Been raining, will remove the cover and check out the leak.

Thanks, Jay

the abs module needs to be activated to bleed it. this can only be done by using a tech 2 scan tool. There are some folks on here that say it can be done by spinning the wheels to activate the abs but i have never tried it like that so I can't verify. search bleeding brakes on here and you will find what I'm talking about.

Is that why it's leaking from that plug?

Is this a symptom of the abs needing to be bleed?

Bump.

Mine just started leaking from that back plug pretty bad too. Stock unit. Does that just mean it needs to be bled?

I think it needs to be replaced since I don't think its serviceable. mine just started doing this the other day. eventually leading to a total loss of brakes GM parts doesn't list a TCS pump so it eBay time I guess. boo
