Springs Is there any difference in V6 compared to Z28 stock springs? I want to powder coat a set before I put on new shocks. I want to grab a set from the J-yard, any was curious if there was a difference between the two. I don't plan on lowering the car.

I'd keep your stock springs if you're not going to swap to lowering springs, they mainly have different spring rates because of the weight of the v8 motor is more than the weight of the v6 motor. I'm guessing you want to get some springs powder-coated before you disassemble your old shocks and springs so you can unbolt the old assembly and put in the new assembly without waiting to get your current springs powder-coated?

Dam it. I guess that I'll have to find a retired Z28 at thte J-yard then. Would a 93 to 97 Z28 springs fit on a 02? Just attempting to broaden my selection at the J-yard to make it easier.
