Default Koni Str.T Shocks

I know these have been a big thing on here, and many people were searching desperately for these last year without much luck. Well, we did receive a stock shipment of these a while back. I have been so busy that I haven't had a chance to post about them until now!

To those who are running these, how are you liking them? I know they are priced really well, but would like to see if they are living up to the Koni name reputation so far. Post up your experiences!

Keep beating them up about the 5th Gen adjustables. That's what I am holding out for... Thanks.

I did the koni shocks and bmr springs so with that being said my car handles well and rides great. I feel comfortable driving on uneven roads the car stays well planted.

Im glad you guys started this thread since its pretty difficult to find any user reviews on these.

And is it just me, or are these not listed on your website for fbodies?

If you're looking for a budget friendly shock the str.t is definitely a great choice I'm extremely pleased with the ride quality and performance. I live in Los Angeles and look forward to driving fast on uneven road s the car stays well planted

Correct, We have not gotten them list on our website yet. Not quite sure why. Let me go poke the I.T. guy with a stick and see about making that happen. Having them is no good unless people know we sell them.

Alexcoreas, Car looks great! Glad we could get you setup!

I have the Koni STR.T shocks on my 1999 Z28. My car has 16 inch wheels and stock springs. I like how these shocks feel. The ride is firm and stable but not rough or uncomfortable. I have Bilsteins on my 1994 Z28 and it drives pretty similar. The STR.T are a good shock for the money.

pulled the trigger on some str.t's all the way around (got a good deal about 2 weeks ago) - about to get lowering springs from you guys ... short on cash but will have enough for also - either a panhard rod or control arm relo. brackets ... which do you guys recommend FIRST with lowering the vehicle? should be calling you/ordering online tomorrow to order springs & whichever of these 2 components you recommend initially. i'm all stock otherwise (02' trans am t-top).

To be honest, I would prefer to see you do the panhard bar first, that way you get your rear end properly centered and don't have any tire scrubbing or alignment issues. The relo brackets will help with traction more than anything.

sounds good eric thank you i'll be ordering the springs & panhard rod here in a few. ... should i get the chromoly non adjustable or dom adjustable ? i dont road race or anything just dd & wouldnt mind taking some turns a lil faster nothing outrageous, & will go to the drag strip maybe 5 times a year/season just for fun to hit 13's - doubt i'll ever do anything more than intake & exhaust mods power wise. subframe connector definitely asap as in within a month or so.

Definitely do the DOM adjustable. You will need the adjustability to properly center the rear end after lowering.

BMR, what is your pricing on these shocks? Any package discount if we buy these + your springs?

Thanks!

My current price on the full set is $390. As for a package deal with springs, give me a call and I can work you something up

I am running the koni str.t shocks and bmr springs together. I think they ride awesome. I also have all bmr suspension(k member, upper/lower arms, lca, PH bar, etc...) and it still feels great on the road. Awesome response in the turns and a nice road feel. Had bilstien before this and they were really good but I feel the koni str.t are just better.

I'm very pleased with the STR.t's with Strano springs, from stock springs and KYB shocks.

Koni is international, with several manufacturing facilities worldwide. Koni North America is based out of Kentucky.

Yes, we ship worldwide

Alright guys, I know we have been getting blown up about these still lately and unfortunately we have been out, like everyone else.

I have just been informed we have ONE full set that was found. So I have 1 full front and rear set ready to ship. First person to call me gets them. I know these will go QUICK since they are in such high demand right now. These are still at the sale price, and go really well with our springs so get your set on the way today! But hurry!
