Koni DA install orientation The original DA's I bought back in 1996 were sent back for warranty service last year. Before I sent them in, I swear I remember the front bump adjustments both facing forward. Now it seems as if I have a pair of 'driver' side DA's, because the passenger side bump adjustment faces rearward. Koni claims they have always been the exact same shock, no side-specific versions. The bottom of the shock has an angled mount to mate with the LCA so they will mount to either side but while the shock rod can be rotated to ensure the rebound adjuster is facing outward, the bump adjustment cannot be rotated. It's not a huge deal, just less convenient with the adjuster facing rearwards.
Can anyone who has these verify if both front bump adjustments face forward? I don't know if I'm having a false memory (that seems to be going around), or maybe they changed their design in since I bought them new?
