Tracking with rust

Tracking with rust Not sure if this would be a good section to post in but I feel like it'll get the same results. I've got a jagged line of rust underneath my car right in front of the driver's side rear subframe. I can put my finger in a hole there and feel carpet. It's a line of rust about a foot long that when you jack up the car from that subframe, it twists pretty bad to the point where I have to go to the other side and jack it up over there to even out the height because I'm afraid of the strain it puts on the sheet metal where it's rusting. It seems fine driving but if I were to push it hard through a corner or autocross it, would it be safe or would it put too much torsional strain at that weak spot? There's rust on other parts of my car but that's the only place where it's rusted through.

I've never tracked a car but my daily driver had rust on its subframe and it ended up breaking n snapping a cv axle driving on a gravel road. granted it was being aggressively driven cause me n some buddies were being stupid lol. However, you're going to be driving it hard on the track too, I'd say fix it before you race it. Better safe than sorry
