Rear Shock Replacement - recommendations please

2002 Firebird V6 - 112k miles. I need to replace the rear shocks. this isn't a daily driver - more of a weekend type car.

trying to decide on a good economical shock. I know everyone raves at Bilstein, but at $95 a pop isn't that a bit much for the casual driver?

anyone heard of them? any good? for the casual driver, what brand of shocks do you recommend?

Koni Str.t has been viewed as on par with Bilstein and right now they're $73ish a piece.

Whenever I replace my shocks I'm going with Koni STR.T's. Mine is a weekend warrior too.

The company I previously purchased my shocks from always seem to have the lowest price on all Koni shocks, but unfortunately they aren't a sponsor here. Just checked and they have the rears for $67 each and once you hit $99 or above shipping is free. they don't have them currently in stock but they should by next week they told me :l
