Default qa1 need advice

Hi!
I have Camro 93 lt1 almost 100% street driving. I wasn't going to do suspension this year because I have a lot of things to do (c5 brakes, a/c and a lot of other stuff). But now I can have a good deal with qa1 single adjustment set and front 275 spring. I read on this forum that there are a lot of better stuff for this price, but I'm in Russia and I and there is no any other offers. So I can buy qa1 now or go further with stock. As far as I know this is a drag kit. So I have next questions:
1. Will this set improve handling over stock?
2. Which rear spring should I use with 275 front springs? Can I use it with stock rear springs and heat hose mod?
3. How this kit will affect ride quality? Owner sells this kit because it is too firm for him.
Thank you in advance.

A 275 spring is not very good for a full weight street car. The only time I specify a spring that sift is for a lightweight drag only car. Not sure how the previous owner thought they were too stiff. These will not improve your handling at all, infact they will probably have just the opposite effect. That light of a spring rate will be very soft in the corners and promote body roll and weight transfer. For reference, a stock spring is 300#/in and our springs are 550. If you plan on street driving, I would hold out for something with a firmer rate and a shock with better valving for street use. That combination will feel very "floaty" on the street

I would check to see if the shocks are "R" series. With a 275 spring, it should never be too firm. Those may be the R series drag shocks with firm compression.
