Geometry issue - links and panhard
Hey guys
I have a 2016 ram that I'm having some issue with after being lowered
these trucks have 4 link bars, panhard, and rear coils from factory. I replaced the link bars, panhard bar with adjustable units. At stock height it was all good. Now as the truck is lowered, naturally the axle shifted over to the passenger side.
the problem I'm having is when I adjust the panhard bar the truck lowers on the driver side, and raises the passenger side... Like its binding. I removed the sway bar to eliminate that variable, problem persist
these are the arm

the panhard bar has the same dual thread type adjuster FYI
Any my advice on what's going on?

Did you find a fix for this? I lowered my 09 ram 1500 and I encountered the same problem as you. The drivers side is lower and the passenger side is higher. I also have the spohn adjustable panahard bar.

you have to adjust the 4-link control arms as you adjust the panhard bar.
panhard keeps axle centered, and only deals with left/right movement of axle.
the 1998-2002 camaro/firebird has "2-link" which is just rear lower control arms one on each side keeping axle in position with regard to forward/rearward movement only.
on your truck with 4-link you have 2 control arms on each side at an angle, and as the length of the panhard bar changes so must the length of the 4-link control arms to keep axle centered.
and hopefully you corrected your drive shaft ujoint phase angle when you altered the ride height,
otherwise the faster you go the quicker you'll wear out and possibly bust apart your universal joints.
