spring isolator
spring isolator Hi all. So after 61k, my shocks and suspension has seen better days. I plan on throwing on konis and stanos springs once i have the funds. but for now i thought about just replacing the rear spring isolator since i feel the most of the bumps from the rear. has anyone replaced the isolators or knows how much it difference it actually makes? Thanks!

My rear spring isolators were fine after 125k miles. I just replaced my suspension with Koni/strano springs.
It's likely a combination of 3 things for you. Worn out shocks, bump stops worn out or completely gone, and sagging worn out springs.
I put the rear Koni to 1/2 trun from full soft with Strano 's springs and new bump stops. Night and day better over the bumps.

I second that your rear spring isolators should be fine. I just did a complete suspension rebuild and and reused my rear isolators with no effects. The issue you are facing is most likely the springs/shocks and bumpstops.
Spring isolators usually don't go out on these cars, if at all. I'd check bumpstops first to see if they're still intact.
