Default Brake problem

have a 2000 TA, 40k miles. just had a cam and head install done, dont drive the car too much but today i noticed the brakes fell odd. at low speed they stop great, dont feel spongy n pedal pumps up well. At higher speed thou it feels like ABS kicks in on a wet road. i had to unbolt the brake master cyc to install lowering spring about 2 weeks ago. do u think i have air in the lines or what or maybe a vacum issue. Im going for a Tune on friday at MD speed so i guess if its vacum related i no then. thanks.

Try these:

Sara (2201 Z28) really likes them, and gives me a real stiff feeling

just unbolting the master cyl and setting it aside to upgrade suspension shouldn't get any air in the system. unless you opened the lines.. I had a big lift tsunami cam in my old setup and never had a single vaccuume/brake problem from it even at idle.. might be worth your while to put a Guage on your vaccuume line going to the booster to make sure numbers are right

I have the same issue currently.. only way I can get rid of it is pulling my abs fuse.. no abs lights are on and normal driving is fine.. I suspect my ABS module could be going bad.. my tire heights could be an issue also but it does it with 2 different set ups so I'm still not sure but it sure sucks trying to stop at the track.. hopefully someone will have an idea..

How much do stainless steel brake lines make a difference? Is it night and day or just a slight change? I think our issue is different though but worth trying maybe..
