Default Excessive Rear End Travel

For starters let me say whats done to the car

Viking DA rear shocks
Moser 9"
Stock Sway bar
Spohn non adj, LCA
Spohn adj Panhard
MWC tunnel mount torque arm

More recently I did the wolfe mini tub kit, and the adjustable spring perches.

I got the 10" 150lb QA1 springs that everyone runs, and this is where I noticed my issue, I put the adjustment at about halfway which should have been about the ride height the car was at before, but with the rear end hanging, the springs didn't even make contact with the perches. I have to run the adjustment all the way at the bottom to make contact, and at that point the car sits high.

So it seems to me that somehow I am getting more down travel in the rear than a normal Fbody, and I am not sure why.

Thoughts?

I do see on there sight the option for a 10" spring, not sure why. You could put some kind of travel limiter back there via chain, strap or something kind of like people do in front but I would put a longer spring personally.

When you let the Rearend hang were the shocks connected?

Anyone know if the shocks, or the sway bar is supposed to limit down travel on a stock suspension setup?
