Default Swaybar movement issue.

I have a UMI drag sway bar on my car and I've noticed it keeps sliding over to the right against the shock. I use a pry bar to get it back centered and then after driving a short while it will make it's way back over.

Just wondering what some causes could be and maybe some suggestions on what to do to correct it.

Get it back into position then check the torque on the clamshells. If they are still torqued down then the bushing may just be worn and ready for a replace. If they are worn, it may be worth considering UMI heavy duty mounts.

You need to make sure the bar is centered that the sway bar mounts are as far apart as possible to get the bushing close to the bend. This will leave the bar no room to move side to side. I see this a lot with our bar as well.

Good advice moving the bushings out. Was also thinking of getting some 2-piece shaft collars to put on the outer sides.

This can be common for some cars.

The 2 piece clamps will cure the problem if needed.
