Rack and pinion Which one do i get for my 1998 chevrolet z28 1le? I see 2 options on summit. What are the differences?

Moving to Suspension and Brakes.
They are both reman units but are for different suspension packages on the car. You need to check the RPO codes on your door to confirm which one you need.
When I come across this type of thing, there is another parts company (one in particular) site I check that has a very detailed catalog that gives this type of detail. (Most parts sites and even AC Delco don't seem to give you this information online.) The .pdf GM parts catalog that you can download may also have the information, here.
Since you intend to buy reman and buy from one of our sponsors, I won't discuss the other site or your other options. I do suggest you confirm your suspension RPO code and give Summit a call to confirm which one you need.

If you check the application on Summit's site, it says 19320489 is for 1998-2002 models. The other part listed is for 1993-1997. I don't know whether the 1LE upgrade package would have impacted this particular component, but it's probably not likely.
There may be some info somewhere on the web regarding what was included in the 1LE package. I almost got that package when I ordered my 1994, and I believe it was primarily suspension upgrades. I want to say that, at least in terms of my model year, that air conditioning was not offered as part of the 1LE package, but I could be mis-remembering. It's been over 23 years since I ordered my car.
