I pulled the A-arms I acquired some time ago out of storage and found this:
You are saying because the boot is loose? If that is your question... no it isn't trashed those boots only seal from pressure from the spindle pushing on the boot. Not OEM quality of sealing, but it keeps most dirt and water out.
