Default fbody suspension

Got a question for the forum. Why is it that when doing the suspension for the f-body most people only do from the transmission back and not the front? Is the front just hard to improve on?

I'm seeing people doing K members, control arms and sway bars at the front all the time on here.

Guess it comes down to whats considered necessary to improve the handling from stock, to when you want to go ***** out and do everything.

Rear has some serious weaknesses, not so much the front.

The rear does most of the work as far as traction goes, and the factory pieces are pretty weak in design. The front components mainly benefit from weight reduction, unless doing some serious handling use, where added alignment adjustment is desired. It really comes down to your application and budget

I would recommend sway bars as a good starting point, front and rear. Definitely a noticeable change from the garbage stock pieces

Because most people only care about how to launch the car best to drive in a straight line; drag racing. There is alot of room for improvement all over the car. If your looking for a car that corners well I highly recommend Strano Springs paired with Koni shocks. And if you can afford it, Strano hollow sway bars on top of that. You will have a magnificent handling car. Whoever says 4th gen Fbodys do not handle well has never driven a proper set up 4th gen. Period!
