Default Replacing Brake Lines

I have a '98 Camaro and the brake lines are rusted. Started working on it today and wondering if it is possible to replace the long lines that go from the front to the rear without removing the headers, y-pipe and trans cross member. Even if it was on a lift I don't see how you would get the lines past the y-pipe and trans cross member in one piece, the headers are in the way but I may be able to work around them. Inline tube sells a 2 piece line that you connect with a union, does this setup make it possible?

Thanks.

Yes. There are also companies that will custom bend the tubes for you with automated benders and have F-body contours on file. If you search for threads here, you should come across additional info.

Thanks, it looks like Inline Tube does exactly that but makes the long lines two pieces. My exhaust is welded together so if I have to remove anything it would require cutting it off and replacing it which I would rather not do.

That's what unions are for, for when it's difficult / impossible to make a one piece line.
I had a similar project due to rust and did the rear area. When I get to the forward rest of the system, I'll be connecting to the union already installed in the tunnel.

Made progress today despite the rain. Got the two long lines out but had to cut them in half, was still a pain dealing with the header and steering shaft. To get the new ones in that steering shaft will have to be removed, I don't see any other way without damaging or unbending the lines. Plus the lines fro Inline Tube do not have the flex section as part of the line which will make it more difficult. Has anyone actually done this before and can give me some tips? The car is up pretty high but I may be able to get it higher.

I'm sure these companies (since they are making the set custom) can put a union in the middle for you to split the tubes. (It will probably also save you on shipping!)
