Default Rear end offset?

Hey everyone. 98 t/a. Stock rear end, stock panhard, stock everything mostly. The guy before me put Koni adjustable shocks in the rear. Just noticed the rear left tire sticks out 3/4” from the fender and the right rear is essentially flush. My understanding is that even with the rear end side to side even, the tires would stick out still, but equally. So my rims he put on need to be changed with a different offset. My main question is; is there a way to adjust the stock set up via panhard bar to move the rear end more towards the passenger side?

Thanks,

Ryan

p.s. I’ve googled for days but haven’t seen if the stock panhard can be adjusted at all or if there is any way to adjust with anything stock.

No, the factory panhard rod can not be adjusted. You would need an aftermarket adjustable panhard rod to be able to center the rear end under the body.

does it have lowering springs too? usually when someone upgrades shocks, they do lowering springs as well and that would shift the rear end with a stock panhard bar.

Im not sure if you can tell, but the drivers side sticks out. It’s just Koni adjustable shocks as far as I can tell. I wish I had a stance though, with rear being a tad bit higher.

get an adjustable panhard bar and you can center the rear end back up to what it should be
