Default steering issues

Hi everyone
I am looking for some advice
2000 WS6 , wifes summer car ,driven about 10,000 km per summer
car had aftermarket 18 inch wheels and cheap tires , sometimes it felt like you were driving on grooved pavement.
I put this down to crap tires, sometimes the car would felt like it was going to change lanes on its own.
Put on a set of stock 17s with BFG Comp2 tires ,no change
Wheel alignment
New P/S pump
New P/S pump pulley
New Belt
New Steering Rack (complete)
New P/S pump hoses (Both)
All parts are A/C Delco
car feels so skittish I don't want her to drive it
As we are locked down figured it was time to try again
any ideas or advise is greatly appreciated.
Thank You
Steve

What about ball joints, tie rod ends, upper and lower control arm bushings? Not sure, maybe the steering shaft rag joint? Not sure of much here with what must be a rack and pinion set up. How about an alignment? Tire pressures checked?

My steering issue was the upper strut mount. When I bought the car it had completely worn out and was loose. Check them out.

i literally am in the exact same boat as you right now down to the t with everything that’s been replaced and the current issue. I have a brand new turn one ps pump set up and I also have the rebuild my power steering rack. All new inner and outer tie rods. After took it in for alignment, and car still darts on its own to either side of the road. I thought it may have been the tires but they were brand new Goodyear eagles. I swapped to my old set anyway just to see. Didn’t change a thing. Still darts all over. I’ve had this car over a year now and have probably only driven it 6-7 times becuase it is so unpleasant trying to keep it straight. It takes the fun right out of it with its current state.

Do you have a copy of the alignment print out? Most cases that is caused by too much toe out on the front.
