We actually do have F-body pumps available. We just updated the pump style, so the products aren't quite ready for online orders, but you can call to order. The online product should be up early next week.
I like this cooler, with the thick fins. ^ I'm interested to see how it holds up after the air deflector has kicked back on a few curbs and parking lot wheel stops. My thin fins get bent and knocked around a bit - no big deal, they can be straightened. Hopefully these will stay stout.
Is that replacing the one connected to the radiator hose or are you increasing the volume of the system?
replaced the upper hose with one that does not have steering cooler.
Before my pulley came off I noticed the steering got hard after running high rpms so this should keep the rebuilt pump much cooler.
@wssix99@sjsingle1 Products are online now for the new HP1 and HP2 Fbody pumps (FYI...HP1 and HP2 are new pump classifications for almost all our pumps, having standard tuning modifications for each. Similar to the common Stage 1 and Stage 2 performance upgrade designations.)
@blkbowtie98 Great question! We upgraded the Type II pump style from the factory bushing-style CB pump to a bearing-style TC pump. The bearing-style pump will allow for moving the pump out of the factory mounting position, making it compatible with additional aftermarket LS accessory drive kits that utilize the Fbody pump in non-factory mounting positions (the bushing design was extremely sensitive to belt load and tension angles to function properly). We can now also perform the driveshaft upgrade on the pump for supercharger applications that run off the accessory drive belt. Nothing changes in terms of our standard performance upgrades regarding pressure and flow rate changes/customizations. The one semi-drawback is that the pump style use a different driveshaft diameter, so the new pump is not compatible with factory pulleys, and therefore is also being sold as a bundle that includes one of our billet aluminum pulleys (factory diameter).
I have the same cooler mounted in the same location. Turn-one said I would likely not need a cooler. But one very busy AutoX in hot weather overheated it so much I didn't have any assist at the end of the run (without the cooler). With the cooler I haven't had any trouble.
a cooler and using syn fluid helps keep the pump cool an the seals lasting longer ....IMO....the seals in my rebuild were cooked with a capital K ! no sealing is a nice leak.....
turn one....that new pump really looks spiffy !

So I sent my old pump to T1. They rebuilt it and called to say it was basically beyond repair. I went ahead and ordered the new style pump and got it on. It’s a nice quality unit.
The car was down for a month while waiting for rebuild. I had the battery unhooked and now The
ASR off is lit and button doesn’t nothing.
