When the caliper bolts that go the slide pins are tightened down all the way (with a wrench on the pin so it wouldn’t spin) I’m still able to push the caliper from side to side by hand, like I’m pushing the slide pins in and out. Should there be this much space between here or is it supposed to be near flush?

 

if the bolt has the pin tight against the caliper bracket you are good....the pin should slide easily to wherever it wants to go
