I may have a busted shock. One of my rear Bilstein shocks has black grease all on the bottom. The other side is still yellow. Just want to confirm. I've also added pics of the front struts. One may be bad too. That was a pain to install. Thanks.
Could be, try the bounce test on each side of the car, or go a step further, take the rears off the car (since the rears are easy to take off), and compress them by hand. If the passenger's side compresses more easily - it's a goner.
The fronts aren't assembled correctly anyway. No dust boot, no bumpstop, no lower support for the upper mount.
Those shocks aren't actively leaking. A little bit of seeping but nothing abnormal.

Thanks, Sam. I wasn't aware of a front bump stop or front lower support. Can you please provide a link/source where I can find these? Tracking they don't have the dust boots.
The Bump Stop is part of the Dust Boot, and it uses an integral metal upper piece that also acts as the lower support so the shock run just doesn't punch its way through the shock mount. Those things are just reused from the OEM shock, the correct kind of stuff isn't actually available aftermarket which is one reason I don't offer the option to assemble bilsteins with springs at my shop because I can't find the pieces I actually need.
