C0035 ABS Code after Caliper Replacement
Hi All,
Took the car to the shop recently a few odd repairs (broken parking brake cable, front pads and rotors and to inspect a brake caliper issue, etc.) because I simply don't have time to get to them myself. The tech indicated that I had a seized caliper on the front left. Went ahead and replaced both calipers with OEM replacements. The shop was closed when I picked the car up yesterday but I saw the ABS INOP and ASR OFF lights immediately. Scanned this and it shows C0035 (Left front wheel speed sensor circuit malfunction).
Trying to see if there's any low hanging fruit, I've checked and both ABS speed sensors are plugged in at the hub. I've cleaned it and all looks good at the connection. No signs of wiring issues or hard/broken plastic anywhere in the part that's easily visible without getting it up on a lift. I am probably going to need to take it back to the shop for them to diagnose (could be wiring or it may be as simple as needing to replace the left hub), however before doing so I wanted to see if there's something simple I'm missing here. Anything special needs to be done from an ABS electronics standpoint with the caliper replacements?
Thanks all!

I’ve only replaced a rear caliper since having my Camaro and it was a plug & play operation. On another car once I was doing suspension work and I pinched the wire to the abs sensor with a bolt & the ABS light came on.

Seems pretty simply that they left something unplugged, or pinched a wire. It would be a huge coincidence that the hub failed right then, but anything is possible.
