I have a 99 SS and im wanting to lower it. I looked into lowering springs but they dont look like they lower it as much as I wanted. Seems like all the cars with coilovers stance looks 100 percent better. I was looking at the viking coilover kit but there is a lot of different options and was wondering what should i get. Its a full weight car and mostly street driven. Anybody have any pics of coilovers all the way around on a 4th gen? Thanks
Pictures of cars on coilovers won't really show you anything, one purpose of them is that you can pick a height you want. I am a dealer for many, Viking, QA1, Ridetech, KW, Penske too, it should be noted there are VAST differences in the construction and way various dampers in the coil overs work. These are shocks and springs, still, and the shock part can vary a massive amount, well beyond just basic valving differences. Things like how they deal with small and sharp high piston speed hits, are they consistent or do they fade with heat? things like that. I can help you through this, but be aware that like most things in life the better stuff costs more.

I have Viking crusaders on my car, they were the only option back when I went over to coilovers but ride decent for what they are (more of a drag racing style coilover). there are much better options now as Sam said above and if I were to ever upgrade, I'd be chatting with him about it. here is a pic of my car, a little over 2" lowered over factory
Had qa1's previously didn't care for the ride. Currently on ridetech level 2's still playing with the dial in, but much better ride and more comfortable in the turns. 18" ride with 295 35 18 in the pics.
