What to upgrade?
01 Trans Am Auto. Around 450 RWHP. The car is a daily, traffic, red light to red light, just a bit on the highway etc. I need some help figuring out what is the first suspension parts or in general under the car like Panhard bar etc to upgrade first, it's all stock under car. I do not want to lower it, just want something smoot and something that handles corners good. Thanks in advance!
Hello people Threas starter did say He wanted something smoot h I assume that's supposed to be smooth. I have Koni yellows on back of My 02 Z-28 and really what Mine and others have said is stiffer rear springs and with that some KYB gas-a-just or something in that amount of dampening . The Koni yellows will not be very smooth but They do have a ton of dampening which is stiff and yet My car bottoms out in rear very easily . I loved the 1980 Z-28 that I used to drive hard with air whenever I could and the leaf springs on those are tough without being harsh and with KYB's were perfect. In 14 years I drove that car not 1 time did the rear tires hit anything on landing or anything else. Now that car needed help in front which I was in process of when it got smashed. Anyway good luck.
I have about $2k give or take to spare on a suspension package, any recommendations on brands/website? I daily my 450rwhp car. Dont track it or beat it up, just cruise. 2001 TA Auto. Don't want to lower it either.

Shock upgrade will be the most noticeable improvement for a daily driver. I like subframe connectors too, for overall rigidity, but I wouldn't be thinking about things like a Watts link or swaybar upgrades unless you have money left over after upgrading the shocks, any worn bushings, doing an alignment, etc. $2k can go pretty quick if you're paying labor for all this stuff.

Worth every penny though as the car is noticeably better and back to the 'old ride'.
Call Sam. He completely changed my 96 SS into what I wanted, and saved me money too. He listened to me and helped make the car better.
I am picking up a C5 tomorrow and Sam will get my business again.
