Default Front Strut Opinion anyone?

I havent cranked on F-bodys in 20 years. Ive had my stock 01' Trans Am parked for years and looking to get started on it. First up, front Struts. Looking for a firm responsive ride and weekend driver. I remember Koni and Strange were popular back in my day and was hoping you guys that have run these could chime in. I only have experience with Bilstein B6 non adjustable. Any input appreciated/Thanks.

Koni - SRT Non-adustable 8250-1005

Bilstein B6

The Koni SRT's are likely very similar to the Bilstein shocks. I'd consider that a coin flip, leaning slightly to the Koni's.

Right on, appreciate the feedback. Was thinking along those lines but wanted to get some input. Thanks again.

Monotube Bilsteins are going to be a step up from the Koni STR. On the higher end you have Strange and Viking which seem to be more drag race oriented and QA1 and Ridetech which are more handling oriented.

Give Sam Strano a call, Myself and countless others have used him, be honest with him and he will steer you in the direction you need to go without spending more money than you need and you will only have to do the work once.
