Default bent LCA fixable?

well, i guess i ran over a speed bump or something but when i took my rear out of the car i noticed my right rear LCA is bent at about a 10* angle. i tryed beating it with a rubber mallet but its pretty strong(BMR chromoly adjustable). i was wondering if its trashed and i need to shell out some cash for a new one or if anyone has ever "fixed" one. its bent right where the threads meet the two outer "casings" with the bushings on them. im kind of worried that if i bend it back i wont be able to adjust it anymore because the threads may warp.
anyway, anyone ever do this before? any advice?
