Default still having HAL issues..???

Does anyone know if they make spring rubbers to fit in front HAL springs? A couple hard launches or some passengers and my right front tire rubs the fender well. I am nearly out of adjustment compressing the spring.
I am also looking for a slightly higher rate springs for my QA1/HAL set up.
86-OED-315-S HAL Generation "F" Series Front Drag Spring, 1993-2002 F-Body (each)
86-OED-7855-P HAL Generation "F" Series Front Adjustable Shock, 1993-2002 F-Body (each)
The springs are fine for drag racing but for everyday driving they "settle" and I lose tire/fender clearance. I am nearly out of adjustment..I have the shock adjusters wound up 7.25" from the bottom thread to compress the spring and keep the car up. There is only about an inch of thread left on the shock. The car is not strictly a drag car and I carry passengers. Anyone else having these issues? Anyone wound up that tight? Not sure what to do now.

Why not just use the stock springs with the hal shocks up front. I have them works great. Just have widen the hole in the spring perch by about 1/8" diameter and they will mount on the hals. My car has a turbo kit on the front which adds close to 60 lb (would add more but have aftermarket k-member). There is no way the springs that come with the hals would work on my car.

The stiffest QA1 springs out there are only like 300#. The stock springs are 380-400# I think. You don't need to modify the stock springs, just the perch. Or, you can buy new perches ready to go from BMR that fit the QA1's. Personally, I bought a spare set of stock perches and modified those. I'm running GMS progressive springs on mine and it rides great.

I had the same question you did except I used the search feature and the following is what I came up with. These are quotes.

Gilbert

"Just have the hole in the spring perch widened by about 1/8" diameter and they will mount on the hals." "You don't need to modify the stock springs, just the perch. Or, you can buy new perches ready to go from BMR that fit the QA1's. Personally, I bought a spare set of stock perches"
