torque arm needed???
I have the LG Motorsports torque arm. It has a spherical bearing up front, which prevents binding through it's range of motion. Poly will bind up.
I would pass on the shock tower brace, they do almost nothing for fourthgens. I would suggest a 35 or 36mm front sway bar (ST solid, Strano hollow, or Hotchkis hollow), good shocks (Koni's or Bilstein's). I have used several springs (1LE, SLP Eibach, Eibach Prokit, and LG G2), and not suprisingly, I like the G2 springs the best. For lower control arms I would use either 1LE or aluminum LCA's with dual rod ends. Again, LG makes a nice part. Ditto for the panhard bar. Subframe connectors are good, be sure to weld them in. Once you are this far, good tires are a must. To be honest, if you do nothing else, put good sticky tires on the car. They will do more for handling than anything that you can bolt to the car.
But the single tihng that will make more time on an autox course is seat time, ie experience. The first (and second) time a stock Miata or Integra kicks your butt by as much as you could beat it on the dragstrip (or worse), you will learn the power of the driver.
