I stopped at a local shop and asked. The guy had a drag car that was in the 8s so i thought he know what he was doing. We put it up on his lift and he let me remove the paint. He then welded them in. I spent a hour removing paint and removing the lca's He welded them in 15 mins. He charged me 45$ i paid him 60$. He had the kind of lift that picks the car up by the body. We welded the sfc on in the back first and then set the car on ramps and tacked the fronts and then lifted it to complete. This worked well. I am told that the car needs to be on the wheels. Got the ramps at Walmart for 24$ for two, and i had 2.

Long story short "see if u can find someone who will work with you."

$75 at local performance shop. No exhaust shop would do it. Liability issues maybe...

I know a guy who lives by me with an cammed/modded LT1 in a '98+ S10, who knows what he's doing when it comes to modding FBodies and such. His buddy is also a friend of mine and told me he'd weld them in for me for $40, so I don't think I should look anywhere else when I finally get mine. I'm just stuck on tubular or boxed.

Anywhere from 75 to 150 dollars. Shouldn't be anymore than that. Just make sure whoever does it puts your car on a lift that you drive up on. Not the body lift type. The suspension needs to be "loaded" during the installation in order for the SFCs to be effective.

Best shop in town!

I paid $120 fully welded and done right! I think it is alway best to do it on a 4point car lift! So the car is loaded! Or was it the other way around!

I had mine welded in for $25...I mounted the rear part of the SFC at the Lower contral arm bracket then zip tied the front end of the SFC to the chassis...Went over to an exhaust shop and had them weld it up...

I did the same thing since it's pretty easy to intall them and tie them up. I used two clothes hangers though because I was afraid zip ties might break.
Cost me $20 at a local muffler shop to get them welded in.
