car vibrates!

car vibrates! 2000 ss- Its weird and i dont know if its normal but when i give my car a little heavy gas in revearse the car shakes like crazy! seems like the motor or tranny are jumping/shaking. anyone know whats going on? oh yea it kinda feels like when a car gets wheel hop...

I get that with my auto. The tranny has a delay built in when switching between Reverse and Drive. If you get on the gas to soon, the car will rev up a bit before the tranny actually gets into gear. If you are going from Reverse into Drive you will take off with tire spin. If you are going from Drive to Reverse, you will get some violent shaking. I think its just wheel hop (at least thats what it sounds like).
