Dust Boot Problem on Koni Front Shock.
I got my new koni front SA shocks in- and on one of them the dust boot will fall down with just a little pressure. Is there anyway to make it stay up? Is this normal? On My other shock boot it doesnt do this- I cant make the other shock's boot move at all.
Thanks

Sounds like a good idea. My darn heat gun is back home in wisconsin unfortunately . I'm sure it'd work but I hate to have to mod something brand new.
Thanks for the good idea.
should I leave the zip tie on after heating or can i take it off? What about heating it while its on the shock -is that dangerous?

You will be heating the top of the boot, not the shock body, so you should be fine. Just be careful not to heat the top of the shock body (there is a seal in there). You could leave the zip tie if you want (We just did camber plates on a mustang and you used a zip tie to hold the boots to the new bump stops).
