Eibach pro kit
I have a Eibach pro kit on my 99 SS on 17's and I believe it is a 1in 1/2 drop, but I wanted to go a little bit lower. What good quality kits are out there? What are good shocks?

The best way to go is to get an adjustable ride height kit. That way you can set the ride height wherever you want it, knowing you can always change it later. You can either get a conversion kit, like the one made by Ground Control, which includes front and rear ride height adjusters and Eibach ERS springs. You can specify your spring rate or let them pick for you. LG Motorsports sells a full-blown four corner coilover setup, but it's pretty pricey for strictly street driving. If you just want to go with springs, Eibach Sportlines have the lowest drop I know of. As far as shocks go, what do you intend to do with the car? Drag race, autocross, road course, or just street? I like Koni double adjustables, but they are not cheap. Bilsteins are a good choice, and relatively inexpensive, but are a little on the stiff side. HAL makes a good adjustable shock, but it's more for drag/street driving than cornering.
