Default SPOHN torque arm ???

ya know somethings are "bolt on with a " and somethings are truly "bolt on".

i like the spohn unit but heard such things as grinding and welding?? than others say direct bolt on...anyone shine light on the subject and just answer this simple question for me...are there 2 spohns that people may be confusing between the two...one needs some work and the other is direct bolt on....thanx

The Spohn http://www.spohn.net/product.cfm?productid=1475 is a direct bolt-on, no welding or grinding....the clamshell does need to be modified though.

I'm installing the one Dark Age linked to above tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks for the heads up on the clamshell DA, I didn't know that it had to be modified. Oh well, I'll find out when I get in there.

Here's a link from BMR showing the mod to the clamshell http://www.bmrfabrication.com/instructions/ta001.htm , if you guys haven't already gotten the TA mounting hardware kit ( longer bolts, nuts and washers ) from either Spohn or BMR you should before installing the TA. JMO

Other than drilling the rivets, it is pure bolt on. Mine *would* have gone on no problem, but my Y-pipe got in the way.

I have a custom built dual cutout Y pipe, so no fault to Spohn.
