Default Is it okay to use bolt in LCA relocation brackets?

I want to lower my car and I was looking at the complete lowering kit from Thunder Racing. The kit includes weld in relocation brackets but for $40 more you can get the bolt in ones. I don't have access to a welder. Are the bolt in brackets just as good/strong or should I get the weld in ones and take it to a shop? Thanks in advance.

I had bolt-in style relocation brackets from BMR for about 3 years and never had a problem. The car was street driven, and some open-track road course runs during the summer.

I use the bolt-ins they work great. Just think most of your suspension is bolted on anyway's. The weld in one's are only as good as your welder. Go bolt-in. You won't be dissapointed

Okay, thanks guys. Now do you have to drill holes for the new brackets or do they mount in the stock location? If you do have to drill are they some big holes you have to punch?

No drilling required. They bolt right where your LCA bolts now. Then you have to take the bottom of the shock loose. Then slide the bracket in place there and then bolt the shock back up. It's not an hard install if you have the right tools. It will make a world of a difference in traction.
Here's a link on how to install them.http://www.installuniversity.com/ins...sity/index.htm Just click on install documents and scroll down.
Oh yeah I just remebered you will have to cut one of the tabs off the inside of your brake line bracket off. Just have a sawzall and a sharpe blade handy. Beleive me If I can do it you can do it.
