Need help,future c5 for track Hi everyone.First time to this section,Ive been all over the truck board here since day one.Maybe you guys can save me a lot of research and mistakes.My buddy picked up a 98C5 bolt action 56K miles w/suspension option.The cars a buff.Anyways he will be putting it on a roadcourse.Normally the first thind we would do is a H&C PKG. and LT and the normal bolt-ons for 425HP,then later a stroker.With this one we want to hit the braking and suspension first.Trying to find out what works and what order to buy the right parts for the best bang for the buck and easy to dial in.We want to end up with a decent street ride.No way will I put on eurothane mounts,maybe a big swaybar towerbrace and a brake upgrade.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks
The car wont be raced competitively,about once a month the track opens up for the guys to toss the cars around.My buddy has a 911 C4s and last track day he was passing z06s on his way out of the turns and hanging right with them on the straights.We want to go about the covette build in the right steps.
