Default ABS issues?

My car has always had a small ABS issue. When coming to a stop, the ABS light will come on, and the ABS will act as if the car has lost traction, and will to the framiliar brake pedal vibration. This happens intermittently. Is this just a sensor? The brakes seem to work fine when this isn't happening. The front tires are 235's, and the rear's are 245's. Thanks for the help

Sensor could be going bad, but more importantly, what is the aspect ratio of your tires, the middle two digits, and the wheel diameter ?

235/??ZR?? & 245/??ZR??

Beacuse if the overall diameter of the tires is substantially different it too could cause false readings on the ABS.

Although your description sounds like a bad sensor to me.
