Talking Which Sway Bar?

Which Sway Bar? I was looking at the BMR Rear Sway Bar or the Spohn Sway Bar. On the Spohn they have a 25mm bar and a 22mm bar. Which one should I get?
Thanks.
Bill

Wolfe make a really good sway bar. I have one that is unopened (never put on the car) that I paid 400 for. I am currently demodding my car to buy a z06. PM me an offer if your interested.

Suspension Techniques, Addco, Strano, etc. all make good bars.

If I were you, I would contact Sam Strano Jr. at www.stranoparts.com He will set you up with exactly what you need, and he has great prices.

wouldn't a 25mm rear sway bar be TOO much if not paired with a 35mm front bar?

I like the spohn bars and the LG'z. Lately, imo, i've been trying to stay away from BMR for my own reasons. I think that spohn has better quality stuff, especially their lca, phb, torq. arm, etc. The rods ends are the qa1 stuff, much better.

anyways, a solid bar is obviously heavier than a hollow but stiffer which is what you would need. If your gonna drag than you should consider removing the front bar anyways. IMO, i would try to get the biggest/stiffest bars available but im still not sure if a 25mm rear is good. Wouldnt it induce to much oversteer? making your ride unstable...anyone?

Let me start off by saying I'm no expert on this. I have a bar set sitting at UPS for me to pick up. I got the 35 front and the 25 rear solids from Suspension Techniques. I'm sure you need to use a matched set, not just put on one bar. I made the mistake of getting them from Strano. After I ordered them I saw the exact same set in the JEGS catalog. I could have saved about $80! And if you get them straight from Suspension Techniques it's free shipping. Some say a 22 rear is better (and still use a 35 front) because you can exit a corner a little faster. But I think thats splitting hairs. I just want to keep the body as flat as I can and not worry about the rear drifting out a bit on a turn.

You guys are all assuming this is for a road setup, in which case you'd be right that the 25 is too big with a few exceptions. If it's for a drag setup, then a 25mm bar isn't a bad choice.

well i installed a BMR torque arm and a SPHON 1" (25mm) rear sway at the same time...

and the rear feals alot stiffer when i try to launch the car.... i like the set-up alot....

and you can whip the rear end out easyer too, just depends on the throttle used....
under minimal gas, its real solid and tight, which means if you stab the throttle around a corner you will be driffting very quick, but it drifts nice and easy to control be cause there is no body roll....

imo.... there nice. but it depends on the purpose of the car.... mines all street.
