Default Custom Hurst line lock install pics!!

1st pic is of the Switch Plate mounted underneath the AC controls I removed the cigarette lighter and cubby hole (no tcs on my car). The switch that is there is a safety switch so that the line lock won't accidently activate. It illuminates red when on. Above it is an LED to let me know when the line lock is engaged. The minor scratches will be gone once I add the nitrous arming switch and a manual fan switch.

2nd pick is of the actual ativation switch I mounted it there because i am going to try launching with it it is east to reach and not in the way.

3rd is the underhood pic of the solenoid, brake line routing and wiring. I accidently got brake fliud on the Hurst sticker, it smeared so I pulled it off. I am going to request a replacement decal from Hurst.

If any one has questions about my install feel free to ask. Hope you like it.

Looks good! Is that a comfortable spot for the button? I mounted mine on the shifter because its a natural place to rest my hand. Like the panel for the switches! Good idea

Clean install. Looks great. I had to look twice at the second pic, because it looked like you used a doorbell when I first glanced at it.

That is the switch that came with the line lock.

I like it there because I put my fingers in the cup holder and I feel like I can react with my thumb better from there than on the shifter. But I think switch placement is all personal preference.

Looks good. I like how you mounted the solenoid, first time I've seen it like that.

No it doesn't matter. the three holes on the bottom of the solenoid are the same. They are all outlets. They are there in case you wanted 4 wheel line lock.

No they didn't. I bought the Hurst installation kit and bent the lines myself. It was like 15 bucks.

Looks got Holeshotz. I also came across another pretty sweet line lock set up from SJM Manufacturing Inc. They have a kit with everything to install, and STELLAR custom support! http://www.mycamaroz28.homestead.com/
