Default panhard bar and lca question

I just installed my umi performance panhard bar and lca's last night. I went to grease them and all the grease that I put in came out when I took the gun off the fitting. What is going on? I drove the car around and it never squeaked. What should I do? I don't want to screw anything up. Please help asap!!

Or is your grease gun clamped around the fitting correctly?
