Default brakes being boken in

I've driven my car about 450 miles since I upgraded to cross drilled rotors, hawk pads in front, and raybestos in back. I was just wondering if you break in your brakes after you install them or after you drive it a certain amount of miles? What is the proper break in? Any help would be appreciated.

Will be posting pics tomorrow after I wash the z.

Default

I followed the guidelines that came with my pads <VGX>, and heat cycled my rotors several times using the break in guidelines and easy gentle braking for the first couple outings.....then I took it easy for 200 miles. Right or wrong? I dunno...but it worked for me...the brakes are nice and quiet and the rotors are smooth as silk!
