I need to raise the rear of my car a liitle bit, 1/2". I found a local spring company that can get me a spacer to go under the rear coil spring that should work.
The problem is that he tells me that this fits only up to a 1997 f-body and that it may not fit my 99'
Is the spring perch on the axle the same between these years?? Do the LT1 cars take different springs??
I find it hard to believe this has changed
The spring guy thought I had struts in the back of my car. I know these are shocks and seperate springs.
Thanks!!

Rear springs are interchangable from 1980 or so (whenever the 3rd gens started) up until now. So no difference at all between LT1 and LS1. Now the factory may have used different rates, but they are still the same size and shape.
If you feel you could use a little more spring rate in the rear, you could try adding 2 of these to each spring.

2 each should give you 1/2 and the rate would go up from 115lb to 135lb. Double bonus as far as I'm concerned. Try it, it's only 5 bucks.
