Default Lowering Springs

Can someone please tell me which springs would be better for a lower stance, yet sometime corner carver/drag strip/mostly cruising set-Up? I was looking at either BMR or Hotchkis. All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

John

This question has been asked so many times I don't know why people keep asking it.

Have you read any of the several threads on springs?

In my opinion, DMS springs.

Theyre not as low as a ProKit and the have a rake to them. They are also progressive. Theyre what i'll be ordering as soon as I make some more money.

You are asking for a lot there. It sounds like you want some light duty springs to keep the ride smooth. The best upgrade is better shocks. The Bilstein HD sound just right for your needs.
Spring rate would probably need to be around 350-400 up front and 100-125 rear. Going stiffer would help the handling, but you said mostly cruising set-up. You can check out some of the available spring rates here:

The Hotchkis look to be about right. You might not like the stiffer BMR rear springs, but you never know. If you want, you can talk to the resident suspension guru Sam Strano. Call him between 11am-6pm or therabouts, M-F. He will ask you what you want and help you to get the parts you need. http://www.stranoparts.com/index.php
If you search for parts on his site, look under the camaro body style. If you search under Trans Am a lot of stuff doesn't show up.

I don't know anything about the Hotchkis. You can do a search. You should be able to find some pics to see if you like the drop as well as get some feedback on them.

XtinctHawk02, are you using them?
