Well, I was all happy when on last Wed. I started to install my new rotors (drilled and slotted) and prokit springs. After I got the strut towers off, I could not get the mounts off of the struts. I let them soak with a penetrating oil over night just to find that the oil actually ate through the rubber. Therefore, I had to buy new struts as well as new mounts ($200+). On Saturday, after receiving the mounts, everything goes well and I drop the car to the ground and noticed that this was a really low setup. After driving a little on Sunday, I decide to wash the car and noticed that one of my front rotors had already cracked in 2 locations.
After work on today, I was still upset with the height of the car and decided to look up the correct code for my springs only to find out that I had received the prokit for the V6 cars.
What a weekend!
