Subframe Connector Installation
Just purchased a set of weld-in UMI box style SFC's. I am curious on what steps I need to follow for the installation. I am probably going to have a local exhaust shop install them but I was curious on what exactly needs to be done so that I can make sure it is done correct the first time. Any links or tips? Thanks in advance.

had mine welded in last week for $85. it was done at a local chassis shop that builds tube chassis's for top fuel dragsters. its worth a little more $$ to know its done right. it was actually a very easy job for them.

*UPDATE*
Got them installed a couple of weeks ago at a local performance shop in town. They did a pretty good job too for $80. I honestly can't tell a huge difference in the way it rides but it did feel a little tighter. Also the SFC didn't sit flush where the subframe connector connects to the crossmember on the front of the driver's side. I was told that this could be from previous abuse and the frame had been tweaked. Anyone else ever had this happen before when they go to install them?
