Caster, Camber, Toe for 99 TA
I found a great resource at http://www.ozebiz.com.au/racetech/theory/align.html
I understand the concepts, but I have no practical experience with suspension tuning. I have been road racing with a stock suspension for a couple year and would like to start tuning the suspension slightly. My setup is as follows:
1999 Vortech supercharged T/A (WS6)
new parts are:
Koni SA 4th gen shocks
reeseated front and rear stock springs (lower perch in front, remove isolater in back)
Strano 35mm/22mm hollow sway bars
275x17 F1 Eagles for now.
SLP subframes
Also of less isngificance
boxed LCA's, SLP torque arm, adj panhard
My primary interest is street, followed by the drag strip. Road racing comes in third, although I think it may become more interesting with these upgrades.
I would probably want to stick with a toe of 0, but otherwise I'm not sure. If you can, please let me know the stock setup, and the range of adjustments for camber and caster.
Also - any recommendations for the Koni settings (street, strip, road course) would also be appreciated.
Thanks!
