solid LCAs are too damn harsh...

a friend of min gave me a couple of global west solid LCAs for my camaro, their bigger and heavier than stock, they have that solid metal bushing, and look bullet proof... i swapped the stock ones out and damn their loud when i hit bumps... it sends shock waves through out the frame!!! i guess their RACE ONLY... ill keep'em but ill juss swap'em in when i go to the track... i havent noticed any wheel hop when i dump the clutch tho so i guess their great...

so what kind of LCAs should i get for the street? whats the best bang for the buck?

Loud as hell. Had them back in 2001. Switched to G2 race LCA's ( again , rod-ends ) and they are dead quiet. Plus, no wheel hop.

It's all in the rod end (what you call the metal bushing).

The cheap rod ends are JUNK!

What everybody else is saying. I had GW LCAs and yes they were noisy as all get out. I swapped to LG Motorsport's aluminum LCAs, no where near as noisy.

I couldnt tell a difference betwene my stock LCA's and the LG aluminum LCA's. I could feel the difference in the suspension just backing out of my driveway, but it wasnt anymore noise than stock.
