Default How do i remove the lower control arms?

How do i remove the front lower control arms. There are 2 bolts, 1 runs vertical to the car and one runs horizontal. The horizontal bolt came out very easily. But the vertical bolt wont. I removed the nut from the bolt, but the bolt wont slide out of the bushing like it did on the other one. I beat it with a sledge and PB blasted it and still nothing. Is this bolt/bushing different? Is there some special way it has to be removed?

Are you talking about the rear lower control arms? Or the lower A arms?

The last set I removed, I just used a wrench and removed the bolt. There was no trick to it. Yours may be rusted to the metal core of the bushing.
