Default Shock bolt/nut size?

What size are the 2 lower bolts (on each side) and nuts attaching the front shocks to the lower a-arms? Is there anything special about them such as cotter pins? OR would just grade 8 bolts from the hardware store work?

Grade 8's should work, they don't use cotter pins but are tapered to a point on the end to help you hammer then into place. I don't remember the size, did you lose them? If you want the real deal, you might be able to pluck some from a pick a part or junkyard. Or buy new ones from the dealer.

I beleive they are metric (probably grade 10.9, but I'd have to look). I'd hit the dealer for a set.

I picked some grade 8 bolts up at menards and just used locking nuts and lock washers. Should work fine. Thanks for the help though.
